After having great success with the first project, we participated in the following Solar Decathlon in Germany with the Turkish-German team “Deeply-High”. Marvin and Paul were responsible for Engineering, Architecture and Construction Management.

This time a fully functional house was built in just two weeks. Prefabricated modules build by students were put together into a house which is self-sufficient and meets passive-house standards. The walls and roof are made of a light timber frame construction und are insulated with straw bales. Half of the house is covered with a wintergarden/ greenhouse to provide farming in densely populated urban areas.

With all the knowledge collected during our studies, learning and working with sustainable materials, practicing traditional rammed earth techniques, construction management and leading international projects we want start a business tackling the current issues of housing and climate change.
