Isopterra is a young team of civil engineers and architects, working on cost effectiv and sustainable building solutions in Africa. Our aim is to fuel our passion for building with locally sourced and recyclable materials like earth, bamboo and wood. Through combination of traditional and modern architecture we're reviving the almost forgotten art of earth construction techniques.

Our international team was formed from a collective of students who participated in major global student architectural competitions, such as the Solar Decathlon Africa and Europe, during their educational journey.

Why are we currently in Ghana? Through Marvin Martin's roots in Ghana, we completed our first project there as Isopterra, the Zero KM house. This was the stepping stone for many other projects.

As we look to the future, our vision is clear: to expand our reach with our inspiring projects. We see each project as a step towards a more sustainable and environmentally conscious world.

To our potential collaborators: contact us for more information. Whether you are a professional in the field, a student aspiring to make a difference, or simply someone passionate about sustainable development.

Inspired by nature and the urgency of climate change, we aim to design energy-efficient homes in Ghana. Learning from termites, known for their efficient nests using organic materials. We seek to create sustainable, cost-efficient and attractive homes using local renewable resources. Our focus is on reviving traditional building methods while ensuring practicality and recyclability.
